One of our favorite Carefree Bourbon traditions is returning. On Friday, September 4, 2026, we’re celebrating the 3rd Annual Release of Carefree Bourbon’s Toasted Oak at the Carefree Spirits Distillery Tasting Room.
Finished with toasted oak staves, this special annual Carefree Bourbon expression brings forward deeper caramelized, vanilla, toffee, warm toasted, and baking-spice notes, creating a richer, rounder, more layered profile.
Doors open at noon for a full day of release-day pours, hourly raffles, gift basket giveaways, special activities, and a chance to meet the Carefree Spirits Distillery team.

Carefree Bourbon’s Toasted Oak begins with the familiar character of Carefree Bourbon, then introduces another dimension through finishing with toasted oak staves.
The goal is not simply additional oak character. The toasted staves help develop deeper caramelized flavors, vanilla, toffee, warm toasted notes, and baking spice, resulting in a richer and more layered experience.
